There is a baby dressing table by the toilets in the basement under the Publikumsrum (the guest's room between the two exhibition galleries in the far west end of the museums)

Access
The museum was inaugurated in 1924 and has since been enlarged. There are steps at the front door, but direct acces to the permanent collection has been possible since October 2004, from the Østerallé side of the museum. But there is still a flight of stairs in the west end of the Museum, leading to the area where the changing exhibitions are on show - and there are also three steep steps leading down to the collection of ceramics.

There is also access to the museum from Østerallé. See the photographs below.

Guided Tours
Groups may book individually planned guided tours. Call and tell us who you are and what you would like to see and hear about.
There are also public tours in the special exhibitions. These tours are free, and everybody is welcome to take part.

Have you come to see specific works of art?
Because of lack of exhibition space, many of the art works in the collection are stored. Some may also be on loan to temporary exhibitions elsewhere. If you wish to see specific works of art, please contact the museum in advance. If you make an appointment it may be possible to see parts of the collection which are otherwise not not on show.
